My goal in presentations is always to inspire my audience to think about the subject at hand. James A. Owen, a writer, editor and publisher, always seeks to inspire through language. "Mere words are cheap and plenty enough, but ideas that rouse and set multitudes thinking come as gold from the mines." So often we do our jobs a certain way because that is how we were trained. However, I seek to challenge and push my audience away from the expected and into the excellent. Though my communication may vary, (panel, activity, lecture, or roundtable) I challenge my audience to participate in communication with those around them.
